Addison took great care of us in Nashville! After an afternoon at the
Country Music Hall of Fame, we ate at the City House and then attended a
country music performance at the Station Inn. They pack people in to a tiny
cinder block structure and play music that would make anyone a country
fan... we had to wait an extra hour to be admitted, but it was well worth
it. The Time Jumpers were joined by Vince Gill (Country Hall of Famer).
There were 11 musicians on stage at one time! Highly recommend it for
future visits to Nashville.

This morning, we ate at the Pancake Pantry down near Vanderbilt. It came
highly recommended in Roadfood and lived up to its billing. We then drove
to Memphis to pay our respects to the King of Rock & Roll and sample some of
the city's legendary ribs.

As we get into the trip, I have proposed a few "rules" of the road for our
adventure... (Caroline hasn't accepted them yet). Let us know if you have
any suggestions!!

#1) No fast food unless absolutely necessary (notable exceptions are
In-N-Out and Bojangles, which don't exist in northeast, plus are private
companies, and are really really good)
#2) Anyone can call for a stop at anytime for purposes of checking something
fun out... corn palace, world's largest rubber band ball, etc.
#3) Camp whenever feasible and not over 90 degrees
#4) Whoever has driven the most so far, gets to call for a driver switch at
any time
#5) Come home with at least 5 fun t-shirts of notable venues visited
#6) .....
#7) .....
