Dispatch created from email
Barbara arrived at JFK this morning and is resting, happy but exhausted, at
home. After a series of unexpected delays and detours, she met her goal at 7
PM on January 31, 2011 to become the first African-American woman on record
to reach both Poles.

More news and info will be available soon. Thank you all for your continued
support; we could not have accomplished our goal without you.
