Nos encontramos en la hermosa ciudad de Punta Arenas
esperando condiciones meteorológicas favorables para
volar desde el aeropuerto Presidente Carlos Ibañez hacia el aeródromo
Teniente Marsh en la Isla Rey Jorge.

Después de dejar nuestra carga y equipos personales en los hangares de la
FACH, nos encontramos con el avión DC-8 de NASA que se encuentra realizando la campaña Ice Bridge (www.espo.nasa.gov/oib/) de sobrevuelo en la península antártica con apoyo del CECS.
